TruTouch accesses no user-specific data except at the specific request of the TruTouch user. Permission for TruTouch to access this data can be rescinded by the user at any time, and AppsolutelyFun has no access to any of the data.
User-specific data accessed in TruTouch— and, again, only at the user’s specific request— includes the following:
Location access
If the user wants to use TruTouch to find her location relative to Truman’s campus, she can give TruTouch permission to access her location.
Contacts access
If the user wants to use TruTouch to store contact information for members of the Truman community, she can give TruTouch permission to access her contacts.
Calendar access
If the user wants to use TruTouch to record in her own calendar various events from Truman’s master calendar, she can give TruTouch permission to access her calendar.
Photo library access
If the user wants to use TruTouch to save photos from Truman’s photo galleries to her own photo library, she can give TruTouch permission to access her photo library.
Truman account information
The TruTouch user has the option to save her or his Truman username and password in TruTouch's TruView and Recreation Center schedule modules. The username and password are stored securely on the user's device and can be removed at any time via the settings gear in those modules. The only time the username and password are transmitted across the Internet is via the encrypted webpage that Truman State University provides for accessing TruView. AppsolutelyFun has no access to that username and password.
The TruView and Recreation Center schedule modules can be used without the username and password being saved within TruTouch. Saving the username and password in-app is simply included as an optional feature to make access to TruView more convenient for the user if he or she so chooses to use it.
